Fire Prevention

A primary mission of the Tullahoma Fire Department is fire prevention. Unwanted fires can cause personal tragedies and large monetary losses. All Fire Department personnel are active in proactive fire prevention efforts. The Fire Chief is the "fire authority having jurisdiction" in Tullahoma. The Deputy Fire Marshall is the field representative for the Fire Chief. The Tullahoma Deputy Fire Marshall is certified by the State of Tennessee Fire Marshall's Office.
