Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the administration and implementation of several services within the City, including:

• Recycling
• Sign maintenance
• Solid waste collection
• Stormwater management
• Street maintenance
• Vehicle maintenance
• In-house planning
• Design and engineering services for public infrastructures
• Implementation of capital project improvements
• Management of the equipment replacement program

These areas of responsibility require the Department to respond to requests for services to the community, coordinate our efforts with state and federal agencies, and above all other things, work with the community in an effort to provide the best possible service available.
