The citizens of Tullahoma are proud of the educational opportunities provided by Tullahoma City Schools. Tullahoma High School was recently named one of the "Ten Great Schools in Tennessee," one of four schools so named across the state. A varied curriculum meets the needs of students at all educational levels. Student's ACT and SAT scores for college entrance consistently exceed the state and national averages. In 2018, Grant Rigney was named Tullahoma High School's first Rhodes Scholar.
Tullahoma has four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. The student to teacher ratio is 20 to 1 with 60% of high school graduates going on to college. Kindergarten is provided in the public school system. The Extended School Program known as "Kool Kids" is provided before and after school for children in kindergarten through 7th grade.
Tullahoma has an Adult Education program with extended hours. Creating Educational Opportunities is a program where industries and individuals provide time, efforts and funds to enhance the curriculum in Tullahoma. Tullahoma City Schools are among the best in the state.
